Magnolia Square on Canvas

Small but stunning! This Magnolia is painted in sharp focus in fluid acrylics. In this design the blossom is just a little past perfection which makes it vulnerable and real. My signature bug is a Ladybug on one of the four fully painted sides. The Canvas is 6″  X 6″ X 1″ and is ready for hanging with a hook on the back. It is priced at $80 including shipping and handling in the USA. If you are interested in purchasing a custom order of a different Magnolia or even a different motif, please contact me through this site.

Fuchsia Pink Rose with Butterfly

This lush fuchsia colored Rose is a just barely opened blossom painted in sharp focus against a diffused green background.   The inspiration for this painting is a photo I took this past spring in the Rose Garden in Elizabeth Park, Hartford, CT.    The purple butterfly is an ‘enhanced’ Common Blue.  The small plaque is only 9″ X 7″ but comes on strong!  It is available for sale at $80 including shipping.  Please contact me through this site if you are interested in purchasing it.

Tiger Lily Plaque

Bright orange Tiger Lilies are painted in sharp focus against a clear blue sky!  I based this latest painting on a photo I took on the Bridge of Flowers in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts over ten years ago.  Notice the last image which shows the flowers before I added their spots.  I almost stopped painting there, but I am glad I continued.   Yes there is a bug.  Can you find it? The small plaque is only 9″ X 7″ but delivers a  great punch!  This particular plaque has been sold, but if you are interested in commissioning something similar, please contact me through this site.
