My first Tiger Lily Plaque was so well recieved, I happily revisited the concept. Here I painted two bright orange Tiger Lilies in sharp focus against a clear blue sky! A honey bee is flying nearby. The painting is based on photos I took on the Bridge of Flowers in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts over ten years ago. This oval plaque is edged in metallic green and is approximately 11″ X 8″. It delivers a great punch! It is available for sale at $75. Please contact me through this site if you are interested in purchasing it.
Bright orange Tiger Lilies are painted in sharp focus against a clear blue sky! I based this latest painting on a photo I took on the Bridge of Flowers in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts over ten years ago. Notice the last image which shows the flowers before I added their spots. I almost stopped painting there, but I am glad I continued. Yes there is a bug. Can you find it? The small plaque is only 9″ X 7″ but delivers a great punch! This particular plaque has been sold, but if you are interested in commissioning something similar, please contact me through this site.
Springtime brings beautiful Irises in a wide range of colors and styles. This small plaque (9″ X 7″) depicts a fairly low to the ground purple and white variety that I fell in love with at Elizabeth Park in Hartford last year. This time the visiting insect is a honey bee. I would love to paint something like this for you if you want as this one is already in the hands of a happy owner.
Morning Glories on a nice wood box! Five sides are painted with intense Blue Heaven Morning Glories on this nicely crafted wooden box. A fat bumble bee visits on the top and there is a little lady bug on a stem and a dragon fly underneath by my signature. Yes it opens and closes securely, almost secretly! Keep something special hidden inside. The box is 5″ tall and 4 1/2 ” squarish. For sale for $55 plus shipping and handling. Please contact me through this site if you are interested.
