A wonderful trip to New Orleans inspired this painting of a well known home on Royal Street. Painted on an old TV tray, it is the second in a series of three. Each tray portrays a house of import to the client who commissioned the series.

Inn at Mystic in Tray
The Inn at Mystic is a beautiful venue on the coast of Connecticut. I painted the elegant mansion just as darkness was falling. The art is done on an old TV tray and is the first in a series of three. Each tray portrays a house of import to the client who commissioned the series, in this case this it is where her wedding was held.
Autumn Tilt Top Table
I transformed this vintage tilt top table with an Autumn scene painted in fluid acrylics. Some leaves are painted right up close and well detailed. One large tree and lots of slender ones line the stream in the background. A yellow swallowtail butterfly glides right by! The table stands 37″ with the top in the upright position and 26″ with the top laid flat. The oval top is 20 1/2″ X 14 1/2″. It is for sale for $325 plus shipping and handling. Hibiscus at Mt Fuji Plaque
This painting of Japanese Hibiscus was inspired by photos I took at the base of Mt Fuji. More delicate than the familiar American Hibiscus, it took a lot of research and intuition for me to identify it once I was back home after my trip. A Dragonfly is my signature insect for this piece. The small oval plaque is only 8 1/2″ X 6 3/4″ with a black frame reminiscent of traditional Japanese lacquer. It is ready for hanging with a hook on the back. It is for sale at $80 including shipping and handling in the United States. If you are interested in purchasing this plaque or custom ordering a similar piece with a different motif, please contact me through this site.
