Rock, stones and more rocks, are painted hyper realistically in liquid acrylics on a charming vintage pedestal table. There are well over 49 stones painted in many shades of greys and other colors on the round table top (24″ diameter). The table (originally dark brown) is now pale grey. Its legs wear their original brass ‘shoes’ so I painted faux brass on the carved rings on the pedestal. Look hard and you will find my signature bug painted among the stones! The table stands 27″ tall and is for sale for $650 plus shipping and handling (based on location, cost to determined prior to purchase).

Orchid with Butterfly Plaque
Orchids are an intense flower and I painted this close up image to emphasize that. Deep fuchsia pink and red flowers stand out on the grey background. A white Tree Nymph Butterfly is my signature insect for this piece. The small plaque is 8 1/2″ X 6 3/4″ with an antique gold edging. It is ready for hanging with a hook on the back. It is for sale at $80 including shipping and handling in the United States. If you are interested in purchasing this plaque or custom ordering a similar piece with a different motif, please contact me through this site.
Peach Roses Climbing Brick Wall on Slate
Upon request, I revisited painting a profusion of peach colored roses against a brick wall using an old slate roof tile as my canvas. The realistic roses are depicted in all stages of growth from bud to full bloom to faded rose hip. The attention to detail is evident in the whole piece, including the bricks painted in the background. The scene includes a Rice-paper butterfly and a honey bee. A leather cord is threaded through the original nail holes in the slate and is secured with a knot and a pretty ceramic bead. The slate is 24′ tall and 12″ wide and it weighs 8 pounds. I can paint something similar for you if you’d like!
Pale Rose With Bee Plaque
This oval plaque is small but dramatic. The pale rose is is just opening, revealing hints of pink and yellow. There is a bee hovering just below the leaves. The wooden plaque is painted in fluid acrylics, is 6″ X 4″ and is ready for hanging with a hook on the back. Although this one has sold I can paint something similar for $65 including shipping and handling within the US.
