Man in the Moon Beads on Faux Marble table

I painted a necklace of quartz stone beads on this vintage pedestal table. I also painted a small handmade ‘Man in the Moon’ brass pendant based on a piece by artist David Oleski. The marble surfaces are faux painted in fluid acrylics and are done on all sides to continue the illusion. The three table legs are painted black with brass toned metallic paint. My signature bug is a dragonfly underneath the top. It stands 25″ tall and is 17.5″ in diameter. It is available for sale for $350 plus shipping .

This little metal pot has a frog on each side. From one side you see his back and on the other you see his belly. It can hold a 4.5″ potted plant.

Morning by the River Tray

I sometimes pass this spot on the Farmington River on my daily morning walk. I love living so close to this undisturbed area. I painted my view from the shore on this small wooden tray which is 20″ X 8″, handle to handle, and 15″ X 7″ on the interior. Since my signature bug would be impractical I added the turtles which live a little ways up river. It is sealed with polyurethane. Available for sale for $125 plus shipping.

Violets Upon Reflection

In early spring I gathered Violets, Grape Hyacinth and a few Vinca blossoms and placed them in a little blue glass creamer on a glassy surface. I painted them on an 8″ wooden plate, slightly larger than life, with their reflection. My signature bug is painted on the back of the plate with an additional flower.
