This rose is painted on a wooden plaque that is 6″X4″. It is based on photo I took in Elizabeth Park, Hartford one summer.  The sun was just streaming through the pale petals and I just had to capture it!  I think this underside view is so much more interesting than a traditional view! There is also a honey bee who has come to visit.
