Cosmos in the Sun Plaque Version II

This is a second version of the Cosmos in the Sun plaque.  This wooden plaque is painted with 5 bright pink Cosmos in the sunlight.   I kept the  yellow green butterfly subtle so as not to compete with the blossom . The piece is 8″ wide .  I can paint something similar for you for $80 including shipping.  Plate stand available for purchase separately.  If you are interested in purchasing this plaque or ordering a similar piece with a different motif, please feel free to contact me through this site.

Contemporary House Portrait -Backyard

This painting is the rear view of the same Contemporary House Portrait I posted earlier this summer.    My goal was to make the viewer feel as if they were standing on the far edge of the property.  Doing this extensive backyard was a real challenge.   I used multiple views of the yard and combined them into a seamless whole.  There is complicated decking on the house, a gazebo, garden ornaments and a pond with a fountain.  I put a limited number of the flowering plants in bloom so as to not overwhelm the landscaping.  The piece is  painted in acrylics on a smooth surface  24″ X 12″ clay-board.  Also see my painting of the front view of this home in the post dated 07/27/2015.

Pansy cabinet

This cabinet is an oldie but a goodie.  Pansies are growing out from behind the fence on the drawer and are cascading down the front doors.  The client provided me with a new, unfinished piece and I kept it light and airy.  I painted a couple of Trompe L’oeil blossoms on the top and of course there is a bee.   I delivered this cabinet on 9/11/2001 where the television was running in the background: An indelible memory is associated with it for me.

Does this piece intrigue you enough to want me to paint something like it for you?  Please contact me through this site.
