I was concerned when I was given 16 small stones and asked to paint them in a grid, on a white (cream) background, on a square canvas (14″ X 14″). In the end, I was delighted! I love this piece. The drama of the individual stones really works. Yes, I did enlarge each stone greatly, but I kept them in their original proportions to each other. I chose to paint minimal but essential shadows.

Feeling Lucky
This small wood box is painted in fluid acrylics in the “Fool the Eye” style of Trompe L’Oeil. Yes it is all paint: The three cards and the marble (inside and out) are all part of the illusion. It is 6″ X 4″ X 2″ , $80 plus shipping.
Fawn: Feeling Safe
I painted this fawn in acrylic on a 8″ X 12″ canvas. Do you see ‘Mom’ behind her? I love that she looks confidently out at the viewer. I based the painting on a photo taken by my late cousin Heidi Laughton and it is dedicated to her with love. The framed painting is for sale at $175 plus shipping within the USA.
Tiger Lily Square
A single Tiger Lily against an intense blue sky just pops off the canvas! This small square, unframed canvas is painted in fluid acrylics in hyper-realism style. My signature bug is a Ladybug crawling on a stem. The Canvas is 6″ X 6″ X 1.5″ and is ready for hanging with a hook on the back. It is priced at $80 including shipping and handling in the USA.
