This oval plaque is small but dramatic. The pale rose is is just opening, revealing hints of pink and yellow. There is a bee hovering just below the leaves. The wooden plaque is painted in fluid acrylics, is 6″ X 4″ and is ready for hanging with a hook on the back. Although this one has sold I can paint something similar for $65 including shipping and handling within the US. Back of a Yellow Rose
This rose is painted on a wooden plaque that is 6″X4″. It is based on photo I took in Elizabeth Park, Hartford one summer. The sun was just streaming through the pale petals and I just had to capture it! I think this underside view is so much more interesting than a traditional view! There is also a honey bee who has come to visit. |
Pink Rose on Slice of Wood
This life size pink rose nearly pops off the slice of wood I painted it on. If you look close you will see my signature insect is a lady bug on a leaf. This piece is about seven inches wide. |
Wild White Rose on Stone
This life size wild white rose is painted on a chunk of stone. Simple and elegant with a little bit of purple ribbon.
