This is Avis. She is resting on a dining room chair, completely focused on her owner. I painted her portrait on a stone which is approximately 8″ X 5″ oval.
This calico cat is painted in fluid acrylics on canvas (20″ X16″). She is quite a distinctive animal as she sits by the window! I substituted house plants for the Christmas decorations that were in the reference photo from which I worked. I just had to tuck a little ladybug on a Philodendron leaf!
