This pair of very large Adirondack chairs was a bit intimidating at first, but in the end, turned out wonderful. Once they were base painted for me, the decoration moved quickly. The varieties of flowers include Sunflowers, Daisies, Cosmos and Zinnias. The recipient of this project is a bee keeper, thus the numerous bees on the chair with the yellow flowers. Yes they are both the same shade of sky blue in reality.

Zinnias in a Ball Jar
Bright Zinnias in an old blue glass Ball Jar sit on a table by a window. I really had fun with this one; from the variety of styles and colors that Zinnias come in, to the glass jar, to the raised lettering and the crocheted doily underneath. And of course a little honey bee has come by to check things out! I painted this commission on a 12″ X 9″ wood plaque.
Box of Lemons
This was a fun commission! I was given the assignment of “lemons on a box” and I loved doing it! I painted the exterior of a new, unfinished, file box in a deep forest green which makes the lemons pop! I painted whole and cut lemons, slices and wedges, curls of rind, seeds and lemon tree blossoms. And of course a yellow bee for my signature bug!
Poppies Heart
Dramatic Poppies in fuchsia and variegated orange are painted in fluid acrylic on a 10″ wide wooden heart which can hang on the wall by a hook or by the attached cord. A white Rice-paper butterfly has come to visit. I can paint something similar for you for $75 including shipping in the United States.
