This is a Gnatsnatcher bird sitting in a springtime Crab Apple tree. The painting is dedicated to my late cousin Heidi whose wonderful bird photo was my inspiration. It is 8″ X 10″ on wood. It sold before it was even completed!

Birds are a repeating motif for me. Here are some of my favorites representing eight projects. Three of these birds are painted life-size with realism on the walls of a screened in porch. The others are painted on various pieces found elsewhere on this site.
