Yes the playing cards are all paint! This was the perfect motif for my Trompe l’oiel skills. I had a grand old time painting them on the top of this small box which was commissioned as a gift for a lover of games and wine. I put Lady bugs on the back for luck!
I wrapped a dragon around one of my small boxes. I knew he would sell the first time I put him out for sale and he did! Such fun to paint! I’d love to do another dragon on a box. Do you want me to do one for you?
This step stool was designed to last well beyond Risa’s baby years. It was a pleasure to paint Irises, Tulips, Lilies, Roses, Rose of Sharon, Cosmos, Purple Cone Flower and Poppies! The navy blue background made everything pop! I painted three bugs, can you find them all? The stool came unassembled which made it easier to paint and photograph.
This wooden box (8″X 6″ X3″) was a commission for a Margarita lover, especially of the Watermelon variety. I really enjoy painting fruit!
